The Program Objectives are to Educate and Equip the Company Directors with the following:-

• The duties and responsibilities of a company director
• The statutory laws and regulations of common areas of non-compliance
• The moral and ethical obligations for good corporate governance
• The rights and limitations of directors with respect to proper conduct of board and general meetings
• The acts and actions which are construed as criminal or corrupt in nature

After attending this Programme, company directors will have a better understanding of their duties, responsibilities and rights from the
viewpoint of law, moral and ethical obligations, good corporate governance and the drawing lines with regards to crime and corruption.

As the country is also gearing towards K-Economy, adequate knowledge is fast becoming an important tool of management.
Directors armed with better knowledge and understanding of their roles, duties and responsibilities will be able to manage their
companies with greater efficiency to achieve company goals and mission.

The SSM has made it compulsory for Company Directors to undergo this training programme to equip themselves
with the necessary knowledge. With the awareness and understanding of their duties and responsibilities,
corporate governance, compliance levels will be greatly enhanced thereby enhancing the healthy investment
environment and image of the country in the corporate world.

As you are aware, all company directors of privately incorporated companies in Malaysia are required to attend the Corporate Directors'
Training Programme (CDTP) by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).

This Programme can only be conducted by training providers licensed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).

For those directors who have not yet attended the above programme,
we would advise you to do so without any further delay.

Please note SURUHANJAYA SYARIKAT Malaysia has already announced that it will make it compulsory in due course for all SDN BHD companies to confirm in the companies annual returns that all directors of the companies concerned have attended the above programme.
